Every church is different, so here are a few frequently asked questions to help you as you join us on a Sunday morning.

How long is the meeting?

We start at 10.30 a.m. but people come a bit earlier to say hi and settle in - it's always good to start together! We aim to finish by 12 noon.

Is the building accessible?

We are in the middle of Henley, just behind the town hall - you will see the green d:two sign just up the hill on the left. There is free Sunday parking at Greys Road car park and Kings Road car park. People with mobility issues can be dropped off right outside the building, which has wheelchair access.

What sort of style is the worship?

We sing contemporary worship songs and hymns and have a relaxed approach where people can join in and pray or read from the Bible. Sometimes we are noisy and lively and sometimes quieter and more reflective. No one is under pressure to sing along or is made to do anything they do not want to do in our time together. We believe that God speaks through the Bible and through his Spirit, so we encourage use of all the spiritual gifts to build people up. We love to pray for people for healing after each meeting.

How long is the sermon?

No more than half an hour and sometimes shorter.

Anything for the children and youth?

We have a creche every Sunday in our lovely Family Centre equipped with soft play equipment (when there are pre-schoolers present). There is also a group every Sunday for primary school age children. Secondary school age children and youth have groups that meets on Sundays (there's also groups at other times).

What should I wear?

There is no dress code so just wear what you are comfortable in.

What if I don't know anyone?

You are welcome - just come as you are and you will find a friendly face. Our church community is a great place to meet a whole variety of people from different backgrounds, age groups and nationalities. We trust that you get a warm welcome every time you join us. We are learning to be a big extended family and love to meet new people.

Can I come if I'm not a Christian?

Yes!  We want to be a church for everyone. We are all at different stages in our spiritual journeys and it's fun to walk together. Whatever your background or faith you are welcome and you are under no pressure to believe - just come and join us and enjoy the experience.
