Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is a Christian charitable company in the UK founded in Bradford by John Kirkby in 1996. It's a national organisation that's recognised by the DWP who specialise in debt counselling for people in financial difficulty, including those in need of bankruptcy or insolvency, and helping people get back into work.
Henley Baptist Church have successfully partnered with CAP for many years in using their proven tools and structured techniques with a team who are suitable trained and skilled to provide practical help and advice without judgement. The short courses - that vary from just a few weeks up to 10 weeks in the case of the employment course - are easy to understand and generally free to our clients. Further information can be found on the CAP UK website, press appropriate logo below for link.
Sometimes we offer one to one support and other times we can arrange for courses to be facilitated in a small group setting affording the chance to learn in the community with others. If you are interested in any of these courses or would like further information please contact Henley Baptist Church via the contact us page (button below)
