The Alpha Course is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life. Alpha is a non-pressurised, fun and informative course. It is a place to share your thoughts and explore the meaning of life. The course is designed primarily for people who don't go to church or who haven't been to church in a long time and are interested in the Christian faith. A typical Alpha evening will involve a meal, short talk and discussion. Our next Alpha Course starts in January 2013.

CAP Money is a revolutionary money management course that teaches people budgeting skills and a simple, cash-based system that really works. This course will help anyone to get more in control of their finances, so they can save, give and prevent debt. CAP Money is a course devised by the award winning debt counselling charity. We think that this is a course for everybody, even if you are not in particular financial difficulty at the moment.
The Healthy Living group is founded on the idea that a healthy body, mind and spirit are connected. We aim to encourage our members to have a changed attitude towards food and exercise: one that removes too much dependence on the wrong kind of food to satisfy and that begins to engage with the pleasure of moving our bodies. We work with a Personal Trainer and student nutritionist to deliver well thought out and practical help. Along the way we aim to have fun cooking and eating together; perhaps even on occasion praying together. The group is for everyone without exception; it is not just a dieting group but for all those who aspire to a healthier lifestyle. We meet at 7.30pm on Mondays at d:two. Please contact Steve by

Soak:two is an opportunity to stop for a while and spend some chilled out time with others learning more about making good life choices and listening to God. We meet every Tuesday from 10.15 to 12.30, and after some time for coffee and chat, we have a short worship and prayer time followed by a Joyce Meyer or Joel Osteen DVD (occasionally Heidi Baker or others), then spend a whole hour 'soaking' - that is - waiting on God, resting, listening, getting restored and refreshed. We usually finish off with lunch together in the café and go home feeling a lot better!

The ethos of our group is fivefold. Worship to get our eyes on God, his attributes and His Faithfulness; Building up by the preaching of, and absorbing of, the Word. Christian fellowship around coffee and tea. Prayer Ministry in the power of The Spirit for those who need it. And Prayer for the Church and the wider world. We also see it as important that we support Church Meetings and Sunday Services, and support one another, as members need it, during the week.

Mark and Jane’s life group is a vibrant place in which to find friendship. Most weeks there is the opportunity to talk to and praise God, and discover His lifestyle for ourselves through his Son, Jesus. We also have parties where we invite our neighbours, friends and family, and also go out for events such as ten pin bowling.
We always welcome visitors so do come over and say hello.
Meets weekly on Wednesdays (8.00pm – 10.pm) at Richard & Barbara’s house near The Rugby Club in Henley. Excellent off-street parking and a spacious meeting room available! Average attendance is around 8.

The weekly meeting centres on worship, bible-based teaching & discussion - often to follow up the previous Sunday's sermon - and prayer for individuals and wider issues. Participation & contribution from all members is encouraged and freely given. The Lord’s Supper is shared together occasionally (e.g. at Christmas & Easter) and we have watched the odd film together when appropriate (e.g. The Life of George Muller). Space is also given for personal testimony and for prayer for the sick.
Outside the meeting itself, group meals and other social events are arranged and are well supported – 22 people attended the recent Christmas meal. Members also provide mutual pastoral and practical support for each other as the need arises.
The group does have space for additional members at present – please contact either Richard or Barbara (Tel : 01491 571549, email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ) if you are interested.
